University of Pasadena (UPAS) was founded in 2012 by a group of eminent educationists and entrepreneurs with a vision to create an educational institution that will enable our students to be competent professionals and lifelong learners with affordable access to high quality, learning-centered and outcomes-based distance education.
UPAS uses a Learning Management System (LMS) supported by Blackboard Inc., a leading provider of LMS for universities across the globe. UPAS has customized the LMS to ensure that students get quality and engaging education as they go through their course of study at UPAS. UPAS also has interactive Video Conferencing sessions where faculty interact live with students for project discussions and research work.

M. Ed (Master’s Degree in Education)
This is a program for individuals who aspire to teach in Schools worldwide. Most statutory bodies in US, Canada and other countries require a degree in Education for teachers to be eligible to teach in Schools. They also insist on supervised Practicum hours that is part of the requirement of the curriculum of the degree program. Schools that follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum or the IGCSE curriculum, need such a qualification. As the M.A Education offering from UNIVERSITY OF PASADENA includes a mandatory internship that carries credit, students graduating with this degree become eligible to teach. Moreover, the experience they get through this enhances their employability and career growth.
